Recycled cards

I designed these cards using old atlas pages, Shakespeare textbooks, a French book about music and some offcuts of Japanese Dragonfly Yuzen paper. The cards are made from recycled wheat and rice paper.

Aaaah - Organic Lavender Wheat Packs

Well I've been looking around lately at wheat packs and I thought I should make a few with some really beautiful fabrics. These are approx 38 x 15cm and I have added a couple of decent scoops of organic lavender to each one which I get from an Organic Lavender Farm in Young, NSW. They smell great and I walked around with one around my shoulders earlier to try it out. I tend to get a sore neck when I do crunches at the gym - does that tell me something?

I just made some more satchel bags, it's fun choosing what fabric to put on them, so many choices! These bags are $29.95. I am having a stall at Ecofest this weekend which should be great, there are over 80 stalls with heaps of great activities and displays. Kids will love it. I am selling bags and all the things I make using something recycled.

Fabric baby blocks

Here are some new baby blocks.

These are $14.95.

The squares on each side are between 4 and 4 1/2 inches. Ribbon tags make it easy for a baby to hold these blocks and they will love the textures on the tags and the brightly coloured fabrics. The blocks are filled with polyfibre fill and 2 bells. Seams are double stitched.

These canvas bags have a long shoulder strap, gusset, two-layer flap closure. Street bags with a thousand uses! These are big enough to hold a laptop and are great for work, uni, or great for bike riding or whenever you need a bag that keeps your hands free. The front flap is covered with designer fabrics, these 3 are Japanese Echino fabric and there will be many more designs. Available at Ecofest on the 31st May and they will be in the Pod Collective Shop, these bags are only $29.95 .

Wood pendants

This pendant is made from wood and has 2 little birds under a tree with a butterfly and flowers. It is really light and is on a short black metal ball chain with connector clasp, the pendant sits just below the base of your neck and is 5.5cm long and 4.5cm wide..

These pendants are $15.95 and postage is $2.00 standard mail or $3.80 registered post.

Here are 3 collages I've made, 2 are custom orders and I just felt like doing the other one (with the flowers). I've used old atlas pages, gold leaf,shells, recycled plant papers, fibres, beads, an old Rudyard Kipling book, ink, and other things.....

Cuddle Piggy Bed Warmers

I love these cute pigs. They are 35cm tall and filled with wheat and organic lavender. You can put them in the microwave then take them to bed to keep you warm. They come in an appliqued drawstring calico bag. You can put them in the microwave in the bag to keep them clean. Both my kids want to claim these, looks like I'll have to make a couple more..
