This 2009 diary has been hand covered using paper made from banana leaves, Japanese Yuzen paper and cardstock. The outside is covered in contact to protect the paper and inside each cover is decorated with cardstock and Yuzen paper.
Here are a few baby blocks I've just made - Japanese and vintage print fabrics, with ribbon tags. There are really light filled with polyester fibrefill so can be handwashed and are very light for a baby to hold. They also have a bell inside.
This necklace is for a little girl aged 2-6 and has a cute cat charm on pink leather. It also has an extension chain so the length can be adjusted by about 5cm.
This is a picture of our cute little friend, Zali. She is wearing a Ruby Lime t-shirt I made her for her birthday, and a necklace made for her by Holly.
Here are a few bookmark and keyrings I've just made. Most of them have hand made paper beads, including the seahorse ones, whose beads are made from the Gladstone tourist map.
This calico tote bag for a little girl is lined with bright pink cotton and has a cupcake patch and a pink gingham strap. A perfect size to take shopping or to a friend's house or could be used as a library bag. This bag measures approx 30 x 30cm.
This cute baby block is made with the 'Dick and Jane' fabric range by Michael Miller. It reminds me of when I was in Year 1, or 'First Class' as it used to be called. I also used some Japanese fabric and ribbon to make this and with a bell inside it's a light and interesting toy for a baby to look at and touch. This one is for a present for a very cute little boy, but I have a feeling I'll be wanting to make more of these...
This t-shirt is for a custom order with the vintage print fabric patch. I have a limited number of boys brown t-shirts which look great with these old style alphabets and numbers.
These purses are denim on one side and a designer fabric on the other. The patterned side is also covered in PVC so you don't have to worry about it getting dirty. These purses are fully lined with a small handle on the side. You could use these for a purse, make-up bag, a funky pencil case or to keep other things in just because you love the fabric and really want one! I love making these purses as I get to use so many different amazing fabrics (good excuse to buy more!). The zip in these purses is 18cm long but I can make them any size if you want something different.
