Drawstring bag

When I saw the pattern for this bag I had to try it as I love combining different fabrics for a beautiful effect with colours and patterns. This drawstring bag is an Amy Butler design and is gorgeous in brown and green with Joel Dewberry fabric and some other designer fabric I got in a surprise pack from the US. The bag is approximately 28cm square and the height of the handles are approximately 26cm. I've put eyelets in the end of the drawstring with a gold dragonfly and some wooden and gold beads, making this bag one that no one else will have!

t-shirts

I bought these amazing fabrics to use for patches on bags and t-shirts. I started making some basic applique t-shirts for presents but I'm afraid it's addictive and I can't stop. I can do custom orders for these and can email you pictures of the fabrics I have if interested. I love the vintage prints, and the guitars. (I'll upload the photos once the blogger website is working properly again!)

Paper beads

I made a few paper beads last night and today made these keyrings for some keen Collingwood supporters! I also found some exciting fabrics today and can't wait to get them. They are from Posie Fabric shop and the designs are amazing. Looking forward to making some interesting pieces with the new fabrics when they arrive.

Lots of purses

I've been busy making lots of these purses the last couple of days. Some of these are now available at the shop at Cedar Galleries Artists' Village on the Bruce Highway at Benaraby. I just got a new shipment of some amazing fabrics and can't wait to start making things. I also have some new bag patterns including Amy Butler (the 'In Town' bags) so will be making up a couple of those very soon.
