Well, I sold my boy owl canvas in the shop on Friday then got an order for this bag (thanks Lainie) and so thought I'd do up another 3 boy owl canvasses at the same time .. so here they are... I also really love making these, might do a cat next though..

Mixed media collages

These are a couple of mixed media collages I have done using recycled plant papers, Japanese papers, ink, paint, crystals and beads and fibres. They are in the Pod Collective Market Place shop

More owls!!

Vintage book art

I did this mixed media art on a page from an old Rudyard Kipling book and put it on watercolour paper. I just love using old books in my art and collage, they make each piece unique and interesting. As you may have noticed, I have a bit of a thing about owls at the moment (thanks Raelee!!)

Glass pendants

Here is a sample of some new glass pendants. I now have a few different shapes and the quality is excellent. These are $22.95 each and I can make up a leather cord to go with them for $14.95, or have sterling silver necklaces. Email me for the prices.

New clutch purses

I've just done a small batch of black zippered clutch purses and here are 4 of them.... these are $17.50 each and will fit your keys, phone and some change, or use them as a glasses case. The zips are 18cm long and they have a handle that will fit over your wrist. .

This is a collage on canvas of some cute birds having a treetop convo. The canvas is not quite lime green and a great 'boy' colour.

Here are another three, pink storybook owl with some text from "Adventures of a Teddy Bear" a 1942 edition, a musical owl with sheet music from a 1960s school textbookand a mother and baby elephant - the text is from an old Rudyard Kipling book.

Owl collage

This cute owl is dreaming about his night time travels. Looks like he has been to N.Z. recently. His wing is made from the pages of an old N.Z. atlas and the rest of him is made from some beautiful Japanese Yuzen papers and leather. He was so much fun to make I am going to make him some friends tomorrow.
